A Parenting Tip You Probably Never Considered

In a very much one-to-one conversational tone, Dr. Earl Crow presents us with a choice of accepting a God resembling the tribal warlords in today's Middle East or a God of love and peace as presented by Jesus. In its own way the book presents the "back story" and asks that the reader use the abilities inherent in all of us to seek the divine God of love and peace and to reject the baggage of time, prejudice, hate and misperceptions associated with Bible stories reflecting a culture in which most of us do not, and, would not want to live.
Read this with an open mind and you will know that God has given unto man (& woman) the ability to communicate spiritually. Read this with preconceived notions from the viewpoint of human superiority which is how most will do, and you may claim this to be heresy. Either way, it is a must read. Pray for an open mind and dive in. You may be surprised. You surely will learn.

Dr. Crow's book is an eye opener that should be mandatory reading for all people, especially those considering parenthood. The stories he refers to that should not be told to children are exactly that. How can you convince children to have a "Godly" attitude if we teach them that God has all the negative characteristics portrayed in these bible stories? Thank God that we have a teacher/writer with not only the education to back up lessons but also the logic to understand the perspective behind religion.
